Real Madrid-owned 17-year-old Endric scored 11 goals in the title season for Palmeiras, beating Neymar’s tally

His goal in the last round helped the Green-Whites secure the championship title

17 year old forward Endrick from Palmeiras exceeded the result Neymar by number of goals scored in one season Brazilian Serie A for a football player of the appropriate age.

In the just completed Brazilian Championship, Endrik scored 11 goals. In particular, his goal in the last round against Cruzeiro helped the Green-Whites formally secure the championship title – the second in a row and the 12th in history.

The teenager got into great shape towards the end of the season. He has 11 goals in 31 league matches, including six in the last eight.

The Serie A record for most goals scored by under-17s in one season belongs to Ronaldo Luis Nazario da Lima – 12. Second place belonged to Neymar (10), but this bar has just been broken by the future Real Madrid player.

Let us remind you that the Madrid giant has already bought out the contract of the young talent. Endrik underwent his first medical examination at the Spanish club back in 2022. But the Brazilian’s official transfer will take place only in July 2024, when Endrick turns 18.

According to information announced earlier, the forward’s contract with Blancos will be signed until June 2027 with the possibility of extension until 2030. Real will pay Palmeiras 60 million euros in compensation and 12 million euros in taxes.

In total, Endrick already has 60 matches, 17 goals and two assists for the Palmeiras first team. He also managed to appear on the field twice as part of the senior Brazilian national team.
