Andrey fought in the Lugansk direction
Ukrainian boxer died in the war against Russia Andrey Yarchevsky.
The boxer did not compete at a professional level, but repeatedly attended boxing evenings. 24-year-old Yarchevsky took his last fight in the Lugansk direction.
Earlier it was reported that former professional football players Alexander Gonchar and Roman Godovany, vice-president of the Ukrainian Chess Federation Artem Sachuk, Dynamo fan Sergei Pavlichenko and coach of the Chernigov Sports School Vsevolod Bodun died in the war with Russia.
Also in November, multiple world champion in kickboxing Sergei Lysyuk, winner of the Ukrainian hockey championship as part of the White Leopard Alexey Loginov and master of sports in boxing Ivan Soltysik gave their lives for our country.
In the early hours of February 24, 2022, Russia launched rocket and air strikes on most Ukrainian cities and then launched a full-scale military invasion. The Russian war against Ukraine has continued for the 653rd day.
