Julen Lopetegui can change Erica ten Haga as head coach Manchester United.
The management of Manchester United is considering changing the coach after the team’s departure from the Champions League. In turn, Lopetegui has repeatedly spoken about his desire to work in the Premier League.
Lopetegui left Wolverhampton in August. The coach was dissatisfied with the club’s policy. Julen has previously been linked with a move to Villarreal and Al Ittihad. Nottingham Forest were also interested in the mentor.
Ten Hag has been with Manchester United since the summer of 2022. Under his leadership, the Red Devils won the English League Cup last season.
The defeat by Bayern (0:1) in yesterday’s game of the sixth round of the group stage of the Champions League left Manchester United without European competition in the spring. Ten Hag’s team is in sixth place in the Premier League standings.
