The Lugansk club ended the group stage of the Conference League with the defeat of Breidablik
Trainer Zari Yuri Koval shared his assessment of the match with Breidablikom (4:0) in the final round of the group stage Conference Leagues 2023/24.
“Despite the score, the game, as we thought, was not easy. The opponent handled the ball more easily. Breidablik is a technical team, fast. The task was to score a quick goal, to play out. The team heard me.”
“Frequent travel and the stress of playing games took its toll. But I’m glad that those who played in the lineup and those who came on as substitutes managed to play well against the ball and earn the final result. This is the most important thing for the team today, for Zarya.”
“We saw and heard our fans. We heard the word “men”. This is worth a lot to us and is the most important thing now.”

Maccabi Tel Aviv (in first place) and Ghent advanced to the Conference League playoffs from Quartet B.
