Eintracht agree with Manchester United to loan Van de Beek

Once one of the main talents of Dutch football will try to revive his career in Germany

Eintracht reached with Manchester United verbal agreement on the transfer of the midfielder Donny van de Beek on loan until the end of the season.

It is reported that the agreement will include an option to buy the player for 15 million euros. In addition, the tenant will pay the owner club an undisclosed amount for a six-month lease.

Recently it was reported that Eintracht and Girona want to rent van de Beek. It seems that the German club won this race, and the Dutchman will not be a teammate of the Ukrainians Artem Dovbik and Viktor Tsygankov in the near future.

In September 2020, Manchester United paid 39 million euros for van de Beek’s transfer from Ajax. This season, the midfielder has played in only two matches (21 minutes) for the Red Devils.

Manchester United are in sixth place in the Premier League. On December 17, Erik Ten Hag’s team will compete away against the leader, Liverpool. The Red Devils failed in the Champions League this week, finishing bottom of the group behind Bayern Munich, Copenhagen and Galatasaray.

Eintracht are seventh in the Bundesliga and will compete in the Conference League playoffs in the spring.
