Athletistic/Football. More than a week ago, the first part of the Russian Premier League season ended. After 18 rounds, Russian clubs took a winter break. This means that the winter transfer window is fast approaching. Of course, it won’t be as big as the summer one. However, teams have the opportunity to strengthen their squads.
Fans of many teams expect various acquisitions. In particular, CSKA fans also expect greater depth in the team. At the same time, in Europe, the military team has various fraternal teams. Among them is the “Partizan” of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. You remember at least two representatives of this team who moved to CSKA. First of all, it is the legend of the two clubs Zoran Tosic. Sasha Zdelar now plays for CSKA. He has already left Belgrade for Moscow. At the same time, Zdelar was the captain of black and white. Israeli footballer Bibras Natcho, who managed to play for CSKA, plays for the Belgrade club.
Of course, the probability of acquiring someone from Partizan in the current transfer window is quite low. First, there was no information about interest in anyone. Secondly, Partizan must also resolve its problems, try to interrupt the hegemony of the Red Star and therefore must not weaken its strength. However, no one will stop ordinary people from dreaming and guessing which of the Partizan players could strengthen CSKA.
Matthew Saldanha
The Black and Whites’ key player is 24-year-old Brazilian striker Matheus Saldanha. He joined Partizan this summer from Japanese club JEF United Ichihara Chiba. At the same time, the striker spent the previous season on loan at Neftchi Baku.
Saldanha is a fairly technical player, he also knows how to open up under passes. The Brazilian tops the Serbian Super League goalscoring list with 13 goals this season. It’s different in most matches. Largely thanks to him, Partizan was in the lead for a long time and had a good lead over Red Star. In the absence of the Brazilian, the team’s performance seriously deteriorated.
At the same time, in recent years, CSKA has once again seen a trend towards Latin American players rather than African ones. Therefore, we can assume that Saldanha would fit well into the team, and that Willian Rocha and Moises would help him adapt. Note that Transfermarkt estimates the value of Matheus Saldanha at 1.5 million euros.
Gayas Zahid
Another important role in the Serbian club is played by Norwegian midfielder Gayas Zahid. This is a 29-year-old footballer who managed to play for the Norwegian national team. He made his main achievements at Apoel. In the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 seasons, the footballer became champion of Cyprus.
Zahid also moved to Partizan this summer. He makes a great connection with Saldanha. The Norwegian is a good passer and also has good dribbling ability. This season, Zahid has scored six goals and provided two assists in the Serbian championship. The Transfermarkt portal also estimates his value at 1.5 million euros.
Bibras Natkho
As banal as it may seem, the return of an Israeli would not be a bad option. Of course, Natkho has become an older player and does not show the activity he showed before. He nevertheless remains a quality midfielder. Additionally, he continues to be a good penalty and free kick taker. In particular, in the last match against Radnički 1923 (3:3), Natkho sent the ball under the crossbar of the opponent’s goal from a free kick. Furthermore, CSKA has a tradition of sometimes bringing back players on loan, as was the case with Seydou Doumbia and Ahmed Musa.
At the same time, Bibras Natkho is Partizan’s second top scorer this season after Saldanha. He scored six goals and seven assists. The Transfermarkt portal estimates his value at one million euros.
Alex Severina
Another successful Partizan acquisition this summer was 22-year-old Dutch midfielder Xander Severina. He left Den Haag. Severina is a good flank player who connects well with attacks.
This season, Severina has scored three goals and one assist. At the same time, its cost, according to Transfermarkt, is 500 thousand euros.
Frank Kanouté
Alongside Bibras Natcho, 25-year-old Senegalese Frank Kanoute plays in the support zone. It is possible that their combination will also work at CSKA. At the same time, Kanoute is a more defensive and less productive player than Natho. He works well in the tackles, although he demonstrates good dribbling.
Frank Kanoute joined Partizan from Cercle Bruges this summer. This season, he has scored one goal and one assist. Its cost is 800 thousand euros.
Thus, Partizan has many worthy players that CSKA Moscow could also consider. At the same time, the cost of the Serbian club’s squad is not very high. This could be taken into account, all things being equal.
