Colo Colo accepts River Plate’s offer for Pablo Solari

The Argentine team, which has long been analyzing the Pibe, which it also faced in the Copa Libertadores, has agreed to buy back 60% of the player’s economic rights, which opens up the possibility of future profits for the albos. All that remains now is for the attacker to set his terms with the Millionaires.

Pablo Solari lives his last hours in Colo Colo. The Argentine striker, who yesterday scored a goal against La Serena that reminded the Cacique of the category that saved the category in the definition against the University of Concepción, in February 2021, is one signing away from River Plate. The albos have already accepted an offer from the Argentine team. It only remains to specify the personal conditions of the attacker.

The hiring was requested by coach Marcelo Gallardo, who has been following the Pibe for some time, a conviction he reinforced after seeing the striker in the duels where the millionaires faced the Cacique, for the Copa Libertadores. In this context, the management of the Argentine club has put on the table a tempting offer for the striker: $4 million for 60% of their economic rights. The management is recognized at El Deportivo by Black and White .

Although the proposal is slightly lower in absolute numbers than the cacique has already rejected for Mexico America, the potential distribution of profits in a later move encourages the possibility of closing the deal. In effect, a possible consolidation of Pibe in the Núñez team would open the possibility of trying a European team , with the consequent benefit for the albos. This variable is the one that the directory directed by Alfredo Stöhwing analyzes before proceeding with the operation.

a family dream

Besides the sporting challenge and the economic benefits that Solari will receive by making the jump to one of the biggest teams in Argentina, there is one variable that can weigh decisively in his decision: the footballer and his family are fans of the blood band team, so much so that the Pibe is called Pablo César, in homage to one of the glories of the Buenos Aires team, its namesake Aimar.

Particular attention should be paid to this element, as Solari already suffered a strong disappointment when Black and White rejected the Aztec Eagles proposal. Indeed, he was absent from part of the offseason activities, precisely in response to the refusal to let him go. On this occasion, he said that the leaders had not respected the commitment to accept an offer that would suit their economic and sporting interests. Now these factors come together and, in addition, they add the attraction that River generates for the player on an emotional level.

The Cacique, meanwhile, has to weigh the effect the transfer would have on the structure that Gustavo Quinteros has laid out. However, the position is well filled. The arrival of Marco Rojas, a Chilean of New Zealand origin, makes it possible to fill the void that Solari could leave in pursuit of his life’s dream.
