In an exclusive interview with Athletistic, Paulo Victor commented on the 2023 season for Ceará; check out
The left side Paulo Victor competed in Series B of the Brazilian Championship for Ceará in 2023. Vozão fought for access to the First Division, but ended the national competition in 11th place.
In an exclusive interview with Athletisticthe defender evaluated the Ceará club’s performance in Series B and made an individual analysis of their participation in the season.
Speaking individually, I believe I managed to perform my role well, I evolved a lot as a player and had good performances on the field”, PV began.
“I can’t say exactly what might have been missing for access [à Série A]. The whole team fought hard to prevent this from happening, but sometimes football has that. There was no lack of dedication towards this goal”he added.
Ceará ended the year with four coaches in charge of the main team in Série B of the Brasileirão. With Vagner Mancini last announced, the team had tickets from Gustavo Morínigo, Eduardo Barroca It is Guto Ferreira.
“Whenever there are changes of coaches, the sequence of work is hampered by the natural continuity of training and methods”, followed the player.
Paulo Victor arrived in Ceará in July this year, on loan from International. Before defending the Vozão shirt, PV spent time at Vasco, where he played for two seasons. The bond with the black and white team was signed until the end of 2023.

“I have enormous affection for Internacional. If they choose for me to return, it will be done. Otherwise, I will respect the decision and pursue my goals,” he said when asked about a possible return to Colorado.
“I hope it will be a much better season than 2023. I will seek to evolve even further as a player and wherever I am playing, I will do my best to achieve the goals set by the club”, added elsewhere.
Formed by Nova Iguaçu, from the interior of Rio de Janeiro, full-back Paulo Victor was traded to Inter shortly after turning professional and after a spell at Botafogo.
