One of the English champion’s key midfielders will remain on the team until 2027.
Manchester City have announced the signing of a new contract with defensive midfielder Rodri until 2027. The Spanish have extended the deal with the England champions until 2027.
Note that the previous contract between the footballer and the club is calculated until 2024. Thus, the 26-year-old Spaniard must stay with the team for a longer than three seasons. Other details of the deal were not disclosed.
Remember that the midfielder has been playing for “citizens” since 2019. In the last Premier League season, the footballer played 33 games for Manchester City, scored seven goals and made two assists.
