Juventus defeated Salernitana and reached the quarter finals of the Italian Cup

The old lady left no chance for her opponent – 6:1

Juventus defeated on his own field Salernitana in the 1/8 finals match Italian Cup – 6:1.

Already in the 1st minute, the guests took the lead – Chukwubuikem Ikwuemesi took advantage of a blunder by Federico Gatti.

The old lady quickly came back through the efforts of 20-year-old Fabio Miretti, and before the break the Turin side took the lead thanks to Andrea Cambiaso’s precise strike.

In the second half of the meeting, Juventus brought the score to a devastating one thanks to goals from Daniele Rugani, 18-year-old Kenan Yildiz, Timothy Weah and an own goal from Dylan Bronn.

In the quarter finals, Juventus will play against Frosinone, who sensationally defeated Napoli (4:0). The other quarter-final pairs will feature Bologna – Fiorentina, Atalanta – Milan and Lazio – Roma.

On January 7, Juventus and Salernitana will play as part of the 19th round of Serie A. Kick-off is at 19:00.
