In early February, Yaroslavsky left Ukraine after a car from a businessman’s motorcade hit a man to death. Yaroslavsky himself stated that he was not at the scene at the time of the accident.
The businessman’s club, Metalist, was on the verge of being withdrawn from the championship, and the Kharkiv residents’ infrastructure suffered from constant shelling due to the Russian Federation’s military invasion of Ukraine. However, Yaroslavsky assured that the Kharkov club would live.
