Football player Dynamo Batumi And Georgian national teamstill owned Dynamo Kyiv Giorgi Tsitaishvili shared his plans for the near future.

“I’m not thinking about the future yet. My goal is to regain my confidence. Before the summer it is important to get a lot of playing time and make good statistics. And then we’ll see.”

“I don’t know what they will tell me, because I belong to Dynamo Kyiv. I don’t know what they will decide. Will they want to return or sell? Or they will rent you out again. We will talk with Igor Mikhailovich Surkis and see what happens. Of course there are plans. But I don’t want to advertise, so let them stay with me for now.”

Let us remind you that in the summer the winger moved to Dynamo Batumi on a one-year loan. Tsitaishvili’s contract with the Kiev team runs until the summer of 2025. Previously, he played on loan in Chernomorets, Wisla and Lech.

For his current club, the 23-year-old footballer played 21 matches, scored five goals, and gave four assists.

Tsitaishvili is the U-20 world champion as part of the Ukrainian national team (2019). However, in 2021 the player changed his citizenship and plays for the Georgian national team. As a member of the adult Georgian national team, Georgiy played 14 matches, scored one goal and provided two assists. Did not participate in official matches in 2023.

On March 21, Georgia will play against Luxembourg in the semi-finals of the Euro 2024 playoffs. If they win, the Georgians will compete against the winner of the Greece-Kazakhstan pair. The Ukrainian national team is participating in another branch of the playoffs; it will have an away match with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
