Former head coach of Lokomotiv, Baltika, Arsenal Tula and Khimki Igor Cherevchenko said he had received an offer to lead the Asian team.
Cherevchenko’s last club was Tajik Istiklol, which he left in December after his contract expired.
— There was interest from two RPL clubs: they called and found out, but it didn’t result in a concrete proposal, so it makes no sense to say what kind of teams it comes to. Why discuss something that didn’t happen? There is an offer from an Asian team – they have already called me and their representatives want to meet me. I will say right away that this is not a CIS team, but an average and even below average level team. You have to think carefully, because there are doubts: it is an exotic country and the flight is quite far,” Cherevchenko was quoted as saying by Sport24.
