The club’s goal is to have a team trained in the summer by a specialist who will work throughout the season.
Acting head coach Zari Yuri Koval said that the club is looking for a new coach with whom the team will conduct full pre-season training.
“Koval is a temporary phenomenon. In order to avoid frequent changes of coaches and to have some kind of perspective, you need to find a coach. If one coach conducts the training camp and signs another, summer history will repeat itself.”
“Kucher came there, other coaches also came. The press has the task of stirring up interest in certain moments. Negotiations are being conducted with more than one coach. The main thing is not to make mistakes.”
Koval took charge of Zarya in November; the specialist temporarily combines the duties of a coach with the position of deputy general director of the club. Earlier this season the team was coached by Nenad Lalatovic and Mladen Bartulovic.
Zarya takes 14th place in the Ukrainian Championship, gaining 12 points. Koval’s team will open the spring part of the season with a match against Vorskla. The base date for the 18th round of the UPL is February 24.
