In a long interview given TeamMarseille coach Gennaro Gattuso he spoke about his coaching journey, detailing his choices that reached a very specific point in his career: “It all started when I was 27-28 years old, with Milan we played against the Barcelona of Xavi, Iniesta, Ronaldinho, Messi, in the Champions League 2005-2006. Something happened to me. We ran for 95 minutes, I did a marathon every time I played against them, I must have touched 3-4 balls. We didn’t understand what had happened to us, and that’s when I started to become interested in it, I started studying, watching,” says Gattuso.
