The former Premier League footballer called the situation with Ronaldo a circus

Former Tottenham player Alan Hutton has commented on reports that Cristiano Ronaldo intends to leave Manchester United.

– When rumors reach you that he wants to leave, and everything that happens around him, it’s a bit like a circus. It’s not ideal for a new coach to come in. He wants to bring in his players; we see what he is aiming for; he talks about the advancement of youth.

You don’t want this story to continue throughout the transfer window, all of pre-season, because that would only upset the balance of the team. He should therefore take care of it as soon as possible. Part of me just thinks it won’t be easy. Ronaldo at 37 is still more than capable of playing at a high level, as we saw last season. So if they want to make money, they will want to get decent compensation for it. It will therefore be interesting to follow the evolution. I think there are still a lot of twists to come,” Football Insider Hatton quotes.

Ronaldo moved to Manchester United in August 2021, his contract with the club is valid until June 30, 2023. Last season, the footballer played 38 games and scored 24 goals.
