English Newcastle United extended contract with Swiss defender Fabien Scher reports the club’s official website.
The new agreement with the 32-year-old footballer runs until the summer of 2025.
“I feel very comfortable at Newcastle.” I love this city, I love playing for the club, I love its incredible fans. “I cannot express in words how much I love them and how much their support means to me,” Sher is quoted in the club’s press service.
The Swiss has been playing for Newcastle since July 2018. This season he has made 28 appearances for the club, in which he scored one goal and provided one assist.
