The Russian Premier League (RPL) expressed its condolences to the family and friends of the former CSKA defender Bogdana Shershuna .
On Monday, the press service of the Moscow club announced that Shershun died at the age of 42.
“We extend our sincere condolences to Bogdan’s family and friends,” the RPL statement said.

Shershun advocated CSKA from 2002 to 2005. As a member of the military team, he twice became champion of Russia and winner of the National Cup, and also won the UEFA Cup.
