Midfielder Nikita Saltykov will definitely strengthen “Locomotive” but it’s a shame he won’t join the team until after the end of the season, said the former railway striker Dmitry Bulykin .
Earlier, the Championship reported that the 19-year-old striker entered into an employment contract with Lokomotiv, but until the end of the MIR RPL season he will remain at Krylya Sovetov on loan.
— They write that Krylia Sovetov midfielder Nikita Saltykov joined Lokomotiv. How do you judge this transfer?
– I rate it well. For everyone, this transition is just a plus. If he changed now, that would be great. But Saltykov will have to wait until the end of this season,” Bulykin said, as quoted by Euro-Futbol.Ru.
— Do you like the way Saltykov plays in Samara?
— I like the fact that Krylia Sovetov trains young footballers, then sells them and makes money. These guys then progress to top clubs and become players on our national team. I think this is a very correct path. I would like to congratulate Krylia Sovetov and Lokomotiv for trusting Russian footballers. The transfer is therefore good. I hope Saltykov can prove himself in the Moscow club.
— Is this promising, in your opinion?
— I think it’s promising. He has every chance of playing, given that the railway workers trust young people. I think everything will work out for him at his new club.
During the first part of the season, Saltykov played 21 matches for Krylya Sovetov, scored four goals and provided five assists.
MIR RPL matches are broadcast live on the and MATCH PREMIER TV channels, as well as on the matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
