Shakhtar does not rule out the transfer of Sudakov in the summer, Napoli wants to acquire him in January – media

The Italian champion intends to speed up negotiations with the Miners

According to Spanish media, Miner admits he may part ways with the midfielder Georgy Sudakov next summer or even in January.

In its turn, Napoli stepped up efforts to transfer Ukrainian talent. The reigning Italian champion intends to strengthen the attacking potential of the midfield after selling Elif Elmas to RB Leipzig for 25 million Euros. Presumably, the Donetsk club values Sudakov at 35-40 million.

It is reported that Napoli scouts looked at the 21-year-old Ukrainian three times last fall. In particular, Sudakov impressed with his performance against Barcelona in the Champions League, both in the away match (1:2), where he scored a goal, and in Hamburg, where the Miners won a sensational victory (1:0).

Another contender for Sudakov is Juventus. Earlier, it was also reported about the offer that the aforementioned Leipzig allegedly made to the Miners.

This season Georgy has scored three goals and provided one assist in 16 matches for Shakhtar. The midfielder has been recognized as the Miners’ best player for three months in a row.

Napoli is failing the domestic season – ninth place after 19 rounds, five points behind the Champions League zone. The Parthenopeans will play Barcelona in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League. Juventus is in second place in Serie A and does not participate in European competition.

Shakhtar went on a winter break, occupying fourth place in the UPL. At the same time, the orange-blacks are three points behind the leaders Krivbass and Dnepr-1, having two games in hand. On February 15 and 22, the Miners will compete with Marseille in the playoff round of the Europa League.
