German attackerLeipzig » Timo Werner has moved to London Tottenham on loan, according to the English football club’s website.
The agreement with the German national team player lasts until the end of the season and includes the possibility of purchasing the transfer this summer. The striker will wear number 16 at the London club.
“Timo and I want him to train as much as possible before the European Championships in Germany next summer. “He had the opportunity to do that at Tottenham, so the loan makes sense for all parties “said Leipzig sporting director Ruven Schröder.
This season, Werner, 27, has made 14 appearances for Leipzig in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
Werner previously played in the English capital from the summer of 2020 to 2022, where he played 89 official matches and scored 23 goals for Chelsea.
