Former Dutch national team player Marc Overmars has been severely punished by FIFA. The legendary player has been suspended from all football activities worldwide.

“At the request of the Royal Netherlands Football Association, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee has imposed sanctions on Overmars, which will apply worldwide,” the International Football Federation said in a statement.
So, Marc Overmars, who currently works as Antwerp’s sporting director, had to step down from his position at the Belgian champions.
