Sports director “Milan” Frédéric Massara has denied reports of the club’s interest in the Russian midfielder Atalanta Alexei Miranchuk .
Earlier, Calciomercatoweb portal reported that AC Milan are considering the possibility of swapping midfielder Tommaso Pobega for Miranchuk.
— I usually don’t give interviews, but I’m happy to tell you that at the moment we are not interested in Alexey Miranchuk. This is a lie. Miranchuk is a good player, even special. But we do not want to acquire it, – said Massara “Championship”.
Miranchuk has been playing for Atalanta since September 2020. The 26-year-old made 25 appearances for the club in all competitions last season, scoring two goals and providing five assists.
