Krunic will soon move from Milan to Fenerbahce

In the Istanbul giants, Rade could reunite with teammate Dzeko

Midfielder Milana Rade Krunic close to transition to Fenerbahce. The transfer amount should be 4.5 – 5 million euros.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the deal was confirmed by Rossoneri CEO Giorgio Furlani.

The Bosnian’s departure, in addition to money for the club’s coffers, could bring the Italian grandee another bonus – an additional place on the roster for a player without an EU passport. Now this place will be freed up for a potential newcomer – for example, Colombian John Duran from Aston Villa.

30-year-old Krunic has played 14 matches in two tournaments for Milan this season and received five yellow cards. He started the season in the lineup, but gradually dropped out of it, and since November he has not appeared on the field at all.

Krunic is one of the leaders of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, for which he played 32 matches and scored four goals (in particular, he scored a double against Iceland in the Euro 2024 qualifying). It is this team that the Ukrainian national team will face in March in the semi-finals of the European Championship playoffs.

Milan is in third place in the Italian Serie A. Fenerbahce leads the Turkish Super League, three points ahead of Galatasaray. The top scorer of the team (and the entire championship) is another top Bosnian, Edin Dzeko.
