The decision on the venue of the Russian Cup superfinal this season will be made at a meeting of the executive committee of the Russian Football Union (RFUs ) or the office of the executive committee, the organization’s communications department told .
Earlier, RB Sport reported that the RFU plans to hold the FONBET Russian Cup superfinal for the 2023/24 season in Moscow at the Luzhniki Stadium.
“The location of the Russian Cup superfinal will be determined by the RFU executive committee or the office of the executive committee,” the communications service told , without specifying the exact timing of the decision.
Luzhniki hosted the decisive Russian Cup matches in 1993-1995, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2006, 2007, 2022 and 2023.
