Ascoli, Viviano: “Nothing is impossible in Serie B. Parma is a Serie A team.”

At a regular midweek press conference at home Ascoli the doorman spoke Emiliano Viviano:

“Nothing is impossible in Serie B, if we continue to maintain the same spirit we have had in the last few games, I am confident that we have the ability to embarrass the top team in the championship. We did not live up to the market and expectations, there are no excuses, only by fighting for every ball can we achieve salvation, an alibi for the losers. The team is doing well, in the last few games we had determination, a fierce desire to fight for every ball, but if that was not enough, then we need to play better.”

About Parma: “This is a team that can already reach Serie A today based on the players on the roster, so we will have to answer blow for blow; If you leave the initiative to such a strong opponent, it can harm you at any moment, we will have to surpass Parma in running, desire and hunger, because objectively we are inferior from a technical point of view.”

On personal and defensive results: “I don’t care about my performance, the goal is to help the team, so I would rather make a few mistakes to see the team with 7-8 points more, hope that my positive performance results contribute to the points.
