Member of the Board of Directors of Moscow “Dynamo” Dmitry Gafin said that the management of the football club is satisfied with the work of the head coach of the “blue and whites” Marcel Licka after the first part of the MIR Russian Premier League (RPL) season.
On Thursday, Dynamo players returned from vacation and underwent a thorough medical examination. After the exam, the team went to training camp.
— How do you evaluate Marcel Lička’s work in the autumn part? He managed to balance the game – by the end of the first segment of the championship, the team, leading in score, no longer lacked victory.
— We are satisfied with the result in this segment. The team transformed itself during the championship and found a balance between attack and defense. Obviously, Marcel, a fan of attacking football, took time to understand the capabilities of the team as a whole and adjust the game, after experiencing several unpleasant results.
But in the end we remained undefeated and showed character and very high quality football for long periods of time. We are now approaching a new important stage – winter training – and we must do everything possible so that we take with us the best of last year, correct our shortcomings and spend the spring much stronger than in previous seasons .
— How will you rate Lichka for the fall?
“We have to evaluate it at the end of the season, now it’s premature,” Gafin said, as quoted by RB Sport.
Dynamo is third in the WORLD RPL rankings with 32 points.
