Zaporozhye defender Nikitin scored a double-double
BC Zaporozhye defeated Old Lutsk in the next match of the regular season FAVBET Super Leagues – 80:65.
The Lutsk team lost its third consecutive home bubble match, bringing its losing streak to six matches. However, in the duel with one of the leaders, Dmitry Tchaikovsky’s team looked decent.
The teams spent the first quarter on equal terms (the hosts even looked better at the start), but then the Cossacks’ advantage gradually emerged.
Lutsk made the last attempt to revive the intrigue at the beginning of the third quarter, but the favorite pulled himself together and finished the segment with a +10 advantage, and during the final ten minutes he kept the enemy at a safe distance.
The MVP of the match was Zaporozhye defender Maxim Nikitin, who added 15 rebounds to his 19 points.
Having won, Zaporozhye secured second place. Old Lutsk dropped to the penultimate line, falling out of the playoff zone.
