The Carpathian veteran has completed his professional career, but does not stop playing football
Former midfielder Karpat Denis Kozhanov became a team player Blago-Youth from the amateur championship of Ukraine.
At the end of December it was reported that 36-year-old Kozhanov was ready to end his playing career and was already working on the coaching staff Karpat-2.
Kozhanov is a graduate of Shakhtar. The footballer played for Carpathians, Illichivets, Sevastopol, Mariupol, Moldavian Dacia, Veres, Volyn and Minai. In 2021, the striker terminated his contract with the Transcarpathians and returned to the Carpathians.
In the autumn part of this season, Denis mainly played for the reserve team of the Lviv club. The forward scored an assist in the cup match of the first team of Carpathians with Prykarpattya (1:2), and scored three goals for the second team of Lviv in 13 matches.
Blago-Yunost (Verkhnee, Ivano-Frankivsk region) entered the Ukrainian Championship among amateurs 2023/24 last summer.
Until August, this club was coached by another ex-Carpathian legend, Igor Oshchipko.
