Elina hopes to take part in the 2024 Olympics. Earlier, the tennis player expressed confidence in her performances for the Ukrainian national team.
Svitolina participated in the Olympics in 2016, which was her debut. The Ukrainian lost only in the quarterfinals to Petra Kvitova from the Czech Republic (2:6, 0:6). At the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Elina won the bronze medal, beating Elena Rybakina in a strong-willed style.
Svitolina is currently competing at the Australian Open 2024. The Ukrainian easily reached the second round of the tournament, beating Tayla Preson at the start of the competition.
