Minai extended the contract with the goalkeeper Alexander Kemkin. The 21-year-old goalkeeper’s new agreement runs until the end of the 2025 season.
Kemkin moved to Minaj from Shakhtar reserve team in the summer of 2021. This season, the goalkeeper played one match for the club in the Ukrainian Cup.
Earlier, Minaj began preparations for the spring part of the Ukrainian Championship. Head coach Zeljko Ljubenovic has 14 players at his disposal who remain under contract. A number of potential recruits are also in training.
Minaj went into the winter break in last place in the UPL. The Transcarpathian team was unable to play the match with Dynamo in the 16th round due to a prolonged air raid warning. Minaya’s fight with LNZ has also been postponed to 2024. Lyubenovich’s team will play the next official match against Dnepr-1, the base date is February 24.
