Everton faces a new deprivation of points in nuclear submarine for violating financial fair play. Also, accusations of violations were brought against Nottingham Forest.

Forest are believed to have suffered losses in excess of the £105 million allowed over three years. The club has already confirmed that the limit was exceeded and requested permission to include in the report the profit from the sale of Brennan Johnson, which took place two months after the reporting period.

Everton faces fines for overspending on stadium construction. The club has issued loans for a new project, this debt of the Premier League is taken into account for new charges. The Toffees insist that payments on targeted loans should be classified as infrastructure costs and not included in the report.

Let us remind you that the Premier League deprived Everton of 10 points this season. The Liverpool club recorded financial losses of £304 million over three years – almost three times the allowed limit.

Everton appealed, saying the punishment was too harsh. Regarding the new charges, the Toffees note that the Premier League’s claims include the same periods for which the punishment has already been imposed.

Everton are in 17th place with 17 points. Nottingham Forest has 20 points and is in 15th place.
