South Tyrol – with an official note – announced the purchase from How midfielder Tommaso Arrigoni. The 29-year-old footballer arrives at the South Tyrolean club on loan with an obligation to buy back if rescued. This is the complete statement:
“FC South Tyrol announces that it has acquired from Como 1907 the sports rights to the footballer Tommaso Arrigoni, a 29-year-old central midfielder who can also play on the right flank or as a midfielder. The player arrives in red and white, indicating a loan formula with an obligation to repurchase if saved in the category.
Tommaso Arrigoni was born in Cesena on February 26, 1994, height 171 cm to 68 kg, right-footed midfielder. He grew up in Cesena and made his first team debut on 30 November 2011 with Cesena-Gubbio (3-0) in the Coppa Italia, called up by his namesake coach Daniele Arrigoni. On 21 December, he made his Serie A debut, playing in stoppage time on the first day of the championship, in a 4–1 away loss to Atalanta. He made his first start for Cesena-Siena (0–2) on matchday 27, ending the season with 15 appearances, 13 in the top flight and two in the Coppa Italia.
From August 2012 to January 2013, he played on loan for Lega Pro Prima side Tritium, making 17 appearances and scoring one goal. In January he returned to Cesena (B) for family reasons. He then moved to Spal in C2 in January 2014, then to Forli in C in 2014–2015 and in the 2015–2016 season to Santarcangelo in C. After a season with Lumezzane and one with Lucchese, he signed a two-year contract with Robur Siena. On August 20, 2020, he arrived in Como and in the same season won the Serie C championship, then two and a half seasons in B with the Como players, in total he played 69 matches among the cadets, scored 4 goals and made 6 assists.
In total, he has 13 matches in Serie A with Cesena and 75 in Serie B with Cesena and Como with 4 goals and 6 assists, as well as 7 matches in the Italian Cup.
