The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony takes place on Monday in London.
In the fight for the prize, Ederson beat the Belgian Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid) and the Moroccan Yassin Bouna (Seville / Al-Hilal).
In 2023, Ederson won the Champions League, FA Championship, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup with Manchester City.
England and Manchester United goalkeeper Mary Earps has been named the best goalkeeper in women’s football for the second year in a row. Last year she became a silver medalist at the World Championships.
