Defender CSKA William Rocha told me in what state he had approached the start of the Moscow team’s training camp.
CSKA’s first training camp will take place in Abu Dhabi (UAE) from January 14 to 26. The next two training camps will take place in Turkey, from January 30 to February 10 and February 14 to 25.
— How do you evaluate the first day of training?
“We managed to work hard on physics and do some drills on the field. Working on fitness from the start of training camp is very important. We must develop ourselves in all directions in order to increase our physical fitness. Even though I trained in Brazil during my vacation, today’s training is completely different. But Abu Dhabi has excellent conditions for getting in shape: the gym is located right next to the field, it is very convenient and increases the intensity of work.
I was also happy to meet my partners. We have already discussed who vacationed and how. It’s good that everyone is already back, united, and we are practicing as a team. It’s good!
— During your vacation, a big event happened: you got married. Congratulations! Tell us how you celebrated your wedding.
— The most important thing for us was to bring the whole family together under one roof. The wedding went like this: we brought together a big family and met everyone. Of course, the wedding ceremony itself is something special. For me and my wife, it was a very important moment in life. We are very happy that everything went well for us, both during the church ceremony and during the celebration. It was the happiest moment of my entire life.
