Marotta: “During the transition from Juventus to Inter I was considered an intruder. Now I think I’m still good…”

General Director of Inter Beppe Marotta spoke on the podcast “Wolf – Storie che conta” hosted by Fedez, created in collaboration with fintech company Hype and consultancy Be Shaping the Future and produced by Doom Entertainment. This is a preview of the Nerazzurri coach’s thoughts, expected www.gazzetta.it: “When I arrived at Inter, perhaps the fans saw me as an intruder or worse, given that I came from Juventus. However, in sport, results are important, and thanks to merit and luck, since I arrived at Inter, good results have come to Inter, so now I think that most Inter fans like me. My future? When I finish my experience at Inter (they recently signed an extension until 2027, ed.), I want to continue devoting myself to sport, but in a different dimension. I would like to consider sport as a social phenomenon. In Italy, not only compared to the USA, but also compared to other European countries, we lag far behind both in the structure and practice of the main sports. I want to make my experience accessible so that children and young people who want to play football and more can do so for free in suitable facilities.”
