Bayern are interested in Lunin’s transfer for next season

Munich are ready to discuss with Real Madrid the transfers of the Ukrainian goalkeeper and Alphonso Davies

Bavaria has her eye on the Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrey Luninwho is having an outstanding season in Madrid Real.

It is reported that the Munich club is interested in transferring the Ukrainian for next season, when the legendary Manuel Neuer will be 38 years old, and his replacement Sven Ulreich will be 36.

At the same time, Bayern are ready to discuss with Blancos a possible transfer in the opposite direction of flanker Alphonso Davies – a long-time transfer target of the Madrid club.

Lunin recently played an excellent match against Barcelona, where his team won with a big score (4:1) and won the Spanish Super Cup – already the seventh Madrid trophy in Andrey’s collection.

The meeting against Blaugranas was Lunin’s 11th of the season. In total, the Ukrainian missed seven goals. Andrey defended five fights to zero.

Lunin’s contract with Real Madrid, according to the latest information, expires in 2025, and the club may be interested in selling the player this coming summer. The now injured Thibaut Courtois is due to return to action next season, so Andrei’s long-term prospects in Madrid look vague.

Discussions continue in the media about who should take the post of Real Madrid’s number one – Lunin or Kepa Arrizabalaga. Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti continues to rotate goalkeepers, providing them with match practice. The Italian’s latest statement was as follows: Lunin will play in the Copa del Rey against Atlético (January 18), and three days later Kepa will appear in the championship match against Almeria.

In the La Liga standings, Carlo Ancelotti’s team is in second place, one point behind Girona and having a game in hand.
