Midfielder “Al-Ittifaq” Jordan Henderson agreed to terminate the contract with the Saudi club, reports The Athletic.
According to the source, the 33-year-old footballer will terminate the contract he signed in July 2023 until the end of June 2026. The Englishman agreed to move to Ajax, Henderson will become a player of the Amsterdam team as a free agent.
Media also reported that the footballer was disappointed with his move to Saudi Arabia.
Henderson has 19 appearances this season in all competitions and 5 assists.
“Ajax” after 17 rounds, he ranked 5th in the Dutch championship standings, gaining 28 points.
