The problem is that the team is not a member of the UPL, and therefore has no legal grounds to leave the country
Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine refused Carpathians on a trip to Spain for a training camp.
The Ministry referred to the absence of a corresponding clause in the Rules for crossing the state border during martial law. It states that only top division teams in team sports can receive permission to temporarily leave Ukraine.
Carpathians are a member of the First League, and the above paragraph of the rules does not apply to them.
Let us remind you that in the first part of the season, Myron Markevich’s team won Group A of the First League, gaining 45 points. In the spring part of the Ukrainian championship, the green-whites will play in the group for the right to promotion to the UPL.
The next official match will be played by Karpaty at home with Poltava. The base date is March 23.
