The head coach of Karpaty knows nothing about the ban on leaving Ukraine for his team
Head coach Karpat Miron Markevich commented on the information about the ban on leaving Ukraine for his club.
“I haven’t heard anything like that. Who wrote this anyway? Now the team is gathering, and we will prepare for the first training camp, which will be held in Lviv from January 22 to February 9, and we will decide where to hold the second training camp. That’s all I can say now.”
“If UPL clubs can go to foreign training camps, then why is the First League worse? I hope that we have sober politicians, at least until today I had no doubt about it. I don’t know anything yet.”
Let us remind you that earlier information appeared that the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine refused to allow the Carpathians to travel to Spain for a training camp. The reason is the absence of a corresponding clause in the Rules for crossing the state border during martial law, which stipulates permission to travel only for representatives of the highest divisions in team sports.
In the first part of the season, Markevich’s team won Group A of the First League, gaining 45 points. In the spring part of the Ukrainian championship, the green-whites will play in the group for the right to promotion to the UPL.
The next official match will be played by Karpaty at home with Poltava. The base date is March 23.
