Ukrainian tennis player Nadezhda Kichenok paired with an American Daniel Collins failed to advance to the second round of doubles Australian Open 2024.
In a three-set match, Nadezhdy and Daniel lost to Elina Avanesyan and Irina Shimanovich, who were playing in neutral status.
The Ukrainian and American confidently won the first set (6:2), but failed to develop their advantage. In the third game they lost serve twice and ended up giving the set away with a score of 1:6.
Let us remind you that Marta Kostyuk and Nadezhda’s sister, Lyudmila Kichenok, had previously successfully started in the women’s doubles.
