Over 500 disabled fans attended the Russian Super Cup game in St. Petersburg

Match for the OLIMPBET Russian Super Cup between “Zenith ” and “Spartacus was visited by more than 500 disabled (HIA) and disabled fans, the official website of the Russian Football Union (RFU) informs.

The match took place on July 9 in St. Petersburg and ended with the score 4:0 in favor of Zenit. Audio commentary for the visually impaired and blind was available during the game. Sign language interpretation was broadcast on the Gazprom Arena bulletin board for hard of hearing and deaf spectators.

The RFU accommodated over 90% of requests from people with reduced mobility and people from any disability group. Thus, more than 500 handicapped and handicapped supporters, including more than 200 people in wheelchairs, were able to attend the match. 90 disabled fans supported Spartak in the game.

A few hours before the Super Cup match, the adapted football festival “We are together” also took place, which was held in the small sports arena of the Petrovsky stadium.

Zenit Saint Petersburg won the Russian Super Cup for the third time in a row and for the seventh time in history.
