The Emirates came out on top in Group C of the 2023 Asian Cup
Team Palestine tied with UAE in the second round of group C Asian Cup 2023 – 1:1.
The Emirates team players took the lead midway through the first half. However, soon the UAE team was left with ten men. Palestine immediately had the opportunity to win back, but Tamer Seyyam missed the penalty.
The Palestinians still managed to equalize the score at the beginning of the second half, Bader Nasser cut the ball into his own goal. But the teams could not achieve more.
The UAE team took first place in Group C, gaining 4 points. Palestine is in third place with one point. Another Group C match between Iran and Hong Kong will take place on January 19.
In the final round, the UAE will meet Iran, and Palestine will meet Hong Kong. The matches of the third round of Group C will take place on January 23.
