The Gunners host Crystal Palace on Saturday
Defender Arsenal Alexander Zinchenko believes the team must draw the right conclusions from recent poor results. The Ukrainian is setting himself up for success in the upcoming match with Crystal Palace.
“When you don’t succeed, sometimes you just have to work harder. This is the key and this is what I believe in. Every time we do not succeed or lose, we need to show the right reaction. We need to show our best game because this league is very difficult.”
“It will be a tough game against Crystal Palace because they are a strong team defensively. We know that we need to respond well straight away from the recent games, so I hope that with our team and the best performance of each player we can achieve success.”
“We try to help each other every time and that’s what makes this team special because we feel like we’re a family. Off the field and on the field we are trying to improve.”
Arsenal suffered three defeats in a row in recent meetings. The Gunners lost to West Ham and Fulham in the championship, and also lost to Liverpool in the FA Cup (0:2).
Arsenal are in fourth place in the Premier League with 40 points. The 21st round match with Crystal Palace will take place on January 20.
