Cristiano Ronaldo wins Maradona Award for top scorer
Attack Manchester city and the Norwegian team Erling Holland recognized as the best football player of 2023 according to Globe Soccer Awards.
Last year, the Norwegian, together with Manchester City, won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup. Haaland was named the best player of 2023 by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS). Erling also became the best athlete of the year according to the BBC.
The City coach was recognized as the best coach of last year Pep Guardiola. The Catalan coach previously became the best according to FIFA, as well as the IFFHS.

- Ederson – best goalkeeper
- Rodrigo – best midfielder
- Jude Bellingham – best starting player
- Cristiano Ronaldo — Maradona prize for the best scorer
Manchester City collected five of the seven main award nominations. Pep Guardiola’s team is second in the Premier League. The City will play their next match in the FA Cup against Tottenham on January 26.
