The Confederation of African Football (CAF) disqualifies a coach Tanzania national team Adel Amrousha for eight matches, reports the press service of the Tanzania Football Federation.
The sanction comes after Morocco complained about the Algerian coach’s comments that Moroccans influence CAF when selecting referees for Africa Cup of Nations matches.
The Tanzania Football Association has suspended Amrush, 55, for eight matches. Hemed Morocco has been named interim coach of the Tanzania national team.
At the African Cup of Nations, the national teams of Tanzania and Morocco are in group F. In the first round, the Moroccans won with a score of 3:0.
