The Ukrainian missed the Gunners’ last two matches due to injury
Head coach Arsenal Mikel Arteta declined to answer whether the Ukrainian defender could Alexander Zinchenko play in the Gunners’ next match with Crystal Palace.
“Zinchenko and Jesus? There are still several people on this list whom we, unfortunately, could not return. Individually, I won’t tell you how everyone is doing.”
Let us remind you that Zinchenko is experiencing problems with the calf muscle. Due to injury, he missed two Gunners matches: the Ukrainian did not play against Fulham (1:2) and Liverpool in the FA Cup (0:2). Earlier it was reported that Alexander expects to return to action for the match with Crystal Palace.
This season Zinchenko has played 24 matches for the Gunners in all competitions. The 27-year-old defender has one goal and one assist.
Arsenal are in fourth place in the Premier League with 40 points. The 21st round match with Crystal Palace will take place on January 20.
