Spanish third division club “Castellón” announced the transfer of the Russian midfielder Nikita Iosifova .
The 22-year-old’s contract runs until the summer of 2025.
Iosifov left Russia in July 2021. Then Villarreal bought the midfielder from Lokomotiv Moscow for 20,000 euros (according to Transfermarkt).
Originally from Tambov, he started his professional football career at the Spartak Moscow academy, from where he joined the Lokomotiv system.
The Russian’s last club was Mirandes, with whom he played eight matches in Liga 2 and the Spanish Cup in the 2023/24 season.
