Forward and captain Egypt national team about football Mohamed Salah will miss two matches at the African Cup of Nations due to injury, reports the press service of the Egyptian Football Federation.
Salah was injured on Thursday during the group stage match against the Ghana team (2:2), the Liverpool player left the field at the end of the first half.
The examination revealed that the 31-year-old Egyptian suffered from a back sprain. He will not help the national team in the match of the third round of the group round with the Cape Verde team (January 22), as well as in the 1/8 finals, if the Egyptian team enters there qualified.
The African Cup of Nations takes place in Ivory Coast.
