The South Korean national football team drew against the Jordanian team in the second round of the group stage of the Asian Cup, which is being held in Qatar.
The Group E match ended with a score of 2:2. In the 9th minute, South Korean midfielder Son Heung-min opened the scoring from the penalty spot, but even before the break, the Jordanian team took the lead thanks to an own goal from Park Yeon-woo and a precise strike from Yazan al-Namat. In second-half stoppage time, the South Korean team escaped defeat after an own goal from Yazan Abo Alarab.
Both teams scored four points. Later on Saturday, that quartet will include a match between the national teams of Bahrain and Malaysia, who are currently without any points.
